The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan has issued the forms of Law Admission Test (LAT) for Admissions in LLB (Five years Degree Program) in All Public & Private Colleges/Universities. This test is compulsory for Admissions in all universities for LLB.
Eligibility Criteria
- HSC in Any Group or Equivalent passed.
- Result awaiting students can also apply.
Entry Test Pattern
Entry Test will consist of Essay (15 Marks), Personal Statement (10 Marks). You can write Essay and Personal Statement wither in Urdu or English. Rest of the paper will consist of English MCQs of Synonyms / Antonyms / Prepositions (20 Marks), General Knowledge (20 Marks), Islamic Studies (10 Marks), Pakistan Studies (10 Marks), Urdu Vocabulary (10 Marks) & Basic Math (5 Marks).
Total Marks of Test are 100 and passing marks are 50.
How to Apply
- Go to the Link (etc.hec.gov.pk) and Submit Online Application Form.
- Deposit 500 Fee Online/ATM in HEC Account. Account Details are given below:

- Payment through Bank Draft and Pay Order are not accepted.
- After submission of Fee, Write your CNIC Number at the back of Deposit Slip and Send it to HEC Office (Room No. 13-209, 2nd Floor, HRD Building, HEC, Sector H-8, Islamabad) through Courier Service.
Important Dates
- The Last Date to Apply for HEC Law Admission Test is 24th February, 2021.
- Entry Test will be held on 07th March, 2021.
