The Health Department, Government of Sindh has invited applications from male and female candidates for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN Generic) 4-year degree program in public sector Nursing Colleges for the session 2026–2029, in both Morning and Evening shifts. Selection will be made on the basis of the NCAT entry test and merit. Complete details are given below.
🎓 Eligibility / Basic Qualification
1. Education / Qualification
- Intermediate / F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) with a minimum of 50% marks (Physics, Chemistry & Biology compulsory) — passed from any Board of Higher Secondary Education in Sindh or Federal Board (for Sindh domicile holders only).
- Matric (Science) with a minimum of 55% marks (Physics, Chemistry & Biology compulsory) — passed from any Board of Secondary Education in Sindh or Federal Board (for Sindh domicile holders only).
2. Domicile
A Domicile / PRC from any district of Sindh Province is required.
3. Other Mandatory Requirement
FRC (CNIC number containing the Sindh Province code digit 4) from NADRA, along with the Family Tree and Father’s Domicile registered in Sindh, is mandatory.
4. Age Limit
Age must be between 18 and 30 years — counted up to the last date of submission of the application form.

Candidates must choose one city/station from those listed above as per their preference. For their own convenience, it is advised to select the station nearest to their residence. Once selected, the city/station cannot be changed.
🧾 How to Apply
- Candidates holding a Sindh domicile should submit their online application through the STS website (www.sts.org.pk).
- After completing the online application, download the system-generated STS test fee challan of Rs. 685/- from the STS portal.
- Through the same challan, the Directorate of Nursing application processing fee of Rs. 550/- must also be deposited. The total payable amount is Rs. 1,235/-, to be deposited at any online branch of the designated bank.
- Incomplete or improperly filled forms, or applications without the paid bank deposit slip, will not be entertained.
- Send the duly filled application form along with the original paid bank deposit slip and attested documents via post/courier to Sindh Testing Services (STS) at the address on the form before the closing date.
- Admission will be confirmed only after verification of educational documents. Any manipulation or bogus document may lead to cancellation of admission.
- Admissions will be granted strictly on merit, in accordance with the STS test results and the merit formula (for both Morning & Evening shifts).

ℹ️ General Instructions
- STS will not be responsible for applications received late through post or courier.
- No TA/DA shall be admissible for the test.
- The date, time and venue of the test will be intimated later through SMS and the STS website.
- The deposited test fee is non-refundable & non-transferable.
- Providing fictitious, exaggerated or misleading information may result in rejection of the application and cancellation of admission.
- All updates and announcements will be available on the STS website/portal.
- Candidates should apply on merit basis (Male & Female). Selection of stipendiary/non-stipendiary candidates will be based on the merit list.
