The University of Karachi has finally decided to replace BSc, BA and BCom into Associate Degree Programs.
The Nomenclature of BSc, BA & BCom will be changed to Associate Degree in Science, Associate Degree in Arts and Associate Degree in Commerce respectively.
These Associate Degree Programs will be offered to Both Regular & Private Students.
Currently, there will be no change in course outline or syllabus and Examination System.
These Programs will not be considered as graduation. Students will have to get Admission in 3rd year in University after completion of their Associate Degree.
The Above decisions will be approved in Academic Council Meeting of University of Karachi on 2nd September.
