The University of Karachi has rejected the proposal to give admissions on the basis of First Year Percentage.
The Academic Council meeting held on Monday (14th November, 2022) regarding Admissions 2022-23 in which the proposal of Admissions on XI Marks was rejected. It was decided that University of Karachi will follow old Admission Policy for Admissions 2022-23 i.e. Admissions will be given on the basis of 2nd Year Percentage. The 2023 Academic Session will be started some delay and to overcome delay, the summer vacations for session 2023 will be shortened. The Test Based Departments Admissions will be started earlier and the Merit List will be prepared after the announcement of Intermediate Results.
Admission Schedule
The Admission Schedule has also been decided in Meeting. The Admissions in Test Based Departments will be started from 21st November, 2022. The Entry Test for Visual Studies Departments will be held on 04th December, 2022, BS (3rd Year) Admission test will be held on 10th December, 2022 and BS (1st Year) Admission Test will be held on 11th December, 2022. The Open Merit Departments will be started after Test Based Departments Admissions.
